Analysis: According to stat of China Association of Automobile manufactures China truck industry is overdraft in sales from March to May and accumulated sales volume of heavy duty trucks was increased quickly. In the market, FAW and Dongfeng took the first and second place in sales while Sinotruk and Shannxi Auto rank third and fourth comparatively. In the first 5 months, heavy duty truck sales volume was 320,982 units increased 56.45% y-o-y.( first 5 months sales volume was209,358 units in 2007). The top 4 truck makers have sold 184,505 units trucks taking 73.72% of the heavy duty truck market. Compared with market share in Apr., the top 4 truck makers market share declined a bit and the decline rate is 0.34% of which FAW declined 0.04%, Sinotruk declined 0.23%, Dongfeng increased 0.41% and Shannxi auto declined 0.48%.
